Why is that a baby can be cute being all chunky with rolls and all, and you get people "ooo-ing" and "ahh-ing" all ove them....
then they look at the mother
who's sportin a muffintop....
and they say
"Don't worry dear, you just had a baby..." or
"Oh! Are you expecting again?"
No, but I'll go die now......
BTW, these pictures are not of me, or my kids....I wouldn't dress like that.....ever.....

Hah, ain't that the truth! I had someone ask, I suppose it was a couple weeks after I had Caleb..."When are you due?" I think I was standing in line at CVS. I felt humiliated as I told the person I already had the baby. And yes, there were other people in line that heard it too. So. Embarrassing.
Yeah. I guess I've just learned to accept that my body simply isn't the same anymore. That's just part of the mommy deal.
It's just not an option for me to flash the MT. I think some people are just SO optimistic, they become delusional enough to try to squeeze back into their pre-pg clothes.
Now just today someone was talking about losing weight on their hips and thighs and I said "If you find a good way let me know, I need serious help..." and she replied "yeah, but you've had two kids, I haven't."
It took everything in me to not say "Actually I've had 3 kids you asshat and my ass is exactly the same size it was before I had them..."
but I just tried to take it as some kind of warped compliment.
