Blah, Blah....
So, really I'm not in the mood to blog anymore. Kinda brunt out on it. But I still read you, and maybe, if you're lucky, I comment.
Updates:
Missy it talking like crazy. We now have to be extra careful of what we say around her.
Citizendad just got a raise at work, but sadly the company did not do well last year, so the hours have to be cut......so it's like he didn't get a raise at all.
Buddha Man is now one! And walking every where! And about his birthday, let's just say I am really, really disappointed in our friends. But thank you family for being there!
I am job hunting. It sucks, not going back to work, but the hunting part. I just wish something could land in my lap:o)
That's it. For now. :o)
Ciao.

Happy Birthday Buddha Man!!!
I know I have not been posting lately, but we have been super busy around here.
And we are all feeling better, thank you for the well wishes.
I had to post this today...
Because today, Buddha Man, my baby, my LAST baby, is one!
I was going to post a whole bunch of pictures, but I did one of those slide show things instead because I had too many that I wanted to share.
So I hope you enjoy, and yes I will be posting pics of the party on Saturday:o)
Enjoy!

WARNING: Cuteness Overload!
First off....

Hope you all had a great one!
And now for the pictures!! Yay!
Buddha Man, he is the most serious person I know...

And some more serious Buddha Man...

I told you...but he's still the best looking boy out there:o)

Now Missy....

Sooo stinkin' cute!

She was counting here...

"Mom, rocks are way better then eggs."

They had a very busy day today, with church, both grandparents houses and going out to eat, Citizendad and I thought for sure that they would crash as soon as we got home....
But the didn't....too much candy, too much fun.
...
...
...
Then I put in Sesame Street....
...
all froze....

they didn't even flinch when I turned on the flash...

they just...

kept on watching...

Thankfully they did finally go down for a nap.
Yes, nap time, gotta love it!
Ciao.

Missy's mess......
So, in my last post I mentioned Missy being able to reach things on that counter now, things that we thought were safe, right?
Well, behold the pictures.....
This first set happened right after bath time, and Citizendad and I were down stairs getting bed ready(I had just washed their beds)....
The formula.....that Buddha Man needs....

Now, we think she was trying to get Buddha Man in trouble...but you can be the judge of that...

Nice right? Wet hair+formula=sticky mess...

But Buddha Man didn't seem to mind.
Next: sour cream....when: right after dinner while I was getting the bath ready, and Citisendad was in the bathroom...

On the carpet.

She left her sippy cup behind.

Uh huh.

Great fun.
But really, who could stay mad at a face like this?

Especially when she falls asleep with her pizza hanging out of her mouth. :o)

20 more to 100
Let's face it. I really suck at this blogging business....don't try to candy coat it, I'm a big girl. I lack in the areas that make a good blog, trust me.
Anyways, I've looked back and noticed that I have never finished my 100 things about me!
You can find the first installments Here, Here and Here, all ready for your enjoyment:o)
Here we go!
61. I'm growing out my hair..
again. I used to have very long hair, to the middle of my back. Then during a fit when i was pregnant with Missy, I cut it off myself. Then I did it again when I was pregnant with Buddha Man. But now, I will not be pregnant again, so maybe my hair has a chance.
62. I want pink highlights!
In my hair! because I *love* pink, and I think it would look neat:o) Weird, I know.
63. My middle name is Shalyn,
I have no idea where it came from, Dad, help me out?
64. Not a big fan of plain milk,
but I love chocolate milk, strawberry milk, and really any thing but plain milk. Unless I have a PB&J sandwich.
65. I don't answer the phone to numbers I don't know.
I screen my phone calls.
66. We don't have cable.
You don't even get the free channels here, you have to pay for it all, but we just have not got around to getting it. Soon though, very soon.
67. My fave grown up movie is "Fools Rush In"
I have a ton of fave movies, and my mom gets upset because I should only have one. But I don't, so muahaha!:o)
68. I wish I had glasses.
And i may have to get them soon. After having kids my eyes are getting bad.
69. I wish I was more crunchy.
But Citizendad would never allow it. He's afraid to be a little hippy.
70. I am obsessed with my pasta salad!
I could eat it everyday! Seriously.
71. Fave drink right now is Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash
OMG, soo yummy to me!
72. I'm alittle weepy over the fact that Buddha Man will be one soon.
He's my baby, my last baby, and he is just growing too fast.
73. I *love* buying new purses!
it drives Citizendad crazy, but I love all the different styles:o)
74. I *love* yoga pants.
and I wear them all the time when I'm home. So comfy, and soo cute.
75. I see no difference with HDTV.
Really I don't, don't see what the big deal is. And we have a HDTV and a HDDVD player too, just don't see it.
76. I get cleaning spurts
And the house is soo clean when I get them, because I have to clean everything. Rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, all. of. it. now.
77. I like folding laundry...
78. but hate putting it away.
79. *LOVE* onion bagels.
love. them.
80. I hate being tickled.
hate it with a passion. But I love tickling Buddha Man, Missy and Citizendad, muahaha!
Gah, I cannot believe it has taken me so long to do this. And I'm not done! Oh well. Only 20 more:o)

I have been working on a few post, but then I get halfway through them and think to myself “nobody wants to hear about this”
So, my friends, I’ll just give you a big helping of randomness, because it’s good for the soul:o)
-We took Missy to her first movie. But we got there late, and it was already showing, so she kind of freaked out because it was dark. But she did great, she likes the movie, and sat on our laps the whole time. But we ended up leaving before it ended because Citizendad was falling asleep and snoring……really.
-Buddha Man is teething like crazy….seems like he’s been teething sience he made the big exit. But now he’s getting his eye teeth and some molars…..fun right? Mommy is seriously slacking in sleep…..
-Missy is now letting me do her hair(yay!) and she looks sooooooo cute in pigtails. Now if she would just stop running away every time I bring out the camera, I could get a picture of the cuteness for you.
-We are looking for another car!(another yay!) Right now we only have one(my jeep) and it’s costing us almost $400 in gas each month for Citizendad to commute. So we are getting him something smaller and more spending money friendly:o)
-I have gained 10lbs since Citizendad got the big snip-snip. Because we stopped running, for him to recover. But we are starting up again, and really I can’t wait. And I guess I should give up all the comfort food too, huh?
-There is a cupcake calling my name right now……
-We waited two hours to get into the Olive Garden on Valentines day…..We even got there early thinking we were smart….everyone else was thinking the same thing.
-Citizendad bought me some pink terry cloth yoga pants and they are oh-so-comfy….I could wear them all the time.
-The spell check for blogger is still not working for me….
-Missy now counts to five! And kind of says her abc’s with you. She just too cute. Oh and she even sings along with songs that I rock out too:o)
-I cannot believe that Buddha Man will be one in two months…..my baby is growing up too fast!
So there you have it. Some nice randomness for you.
Ciao.

Just like mama....
For awhile now Missy has been trying to get to my paints. She just so badly wants to paint like she sees mama doing. And she even puts a book up on my easel and pretends that she is painting the pictures in it. It’s really cute.
So, I gave in.
Got her own smock.
Got her own brush.
Got her some paint.
She went to town…..

She was just soo happy going to town on the papers that I set out for her…..

Then I turned my back to get a paper towel to start cleaning her up……

She even got it in her hair!
But at least she was happy…..and we got these out of it…..

I don’t know, thinking about putting them on the market, for, ummm….let’s say $125,000 to start with?
Any bidders?:o)
And then there is Buddha Man.
He loves him some cheerios.
And yes, he eats them off the floor(I know, bad mama, but if I put them in something, they just end up on the floor anyways).
Here, he’s eating them like any normal baby,

Then he dives on to them…

And comes up in a successful catch:o)

My kids rule.

And so it's done....
So, yup, Citizendad is now onthe couch being iced up.
It went well, nothing was snipped that was not supposed to be snipped:o)
He's getting crap from all his guy friends though, but it's all in good humor because a few of them are next....men are soo funny.
Oh, I was in the room when they did it too. That was wreird. But I knew the urologist, he is also my urologist, but that is another post, and it all has something to do with why we don't want anymore kids....
Anyways, I thought I would share some pictures today...when was the last time I did that?
Ready for some cuteness? You better be:o)
Here are a few pictures from yesterday, when Missy and I got to go out and play...

Missy was trying to catch the snow flakes:o)

Made herself a snowball

Buddha Man watched us from the window, here Citizendad is helping him out..

Him peeking out byhimself(like the snowballs I threw at them? He just thought that was so funny!)

And some more of Missy:

And some from today!
Buddha Man being cute(what's new??)

His little mohawk makes it look like he has a pointy head, huh?
And one more of Missy(nothing is wrong with this picture, it was taken when Citizendad had he upside down:o))

So there you have it. I'm going to plant my butt on the couch and relax with Citizendad....oh and if there is a ton of spelling errors, please, please forgive me, for some reason the spell check button is not working:o(

Snow, no power and the word "snip".......

So, we have been getting some snow here. In fact, it's snowing right now.
Citizendad spun on his way to work yesterday...and that was in our Jeep, going 25mph! That is how "nice" of a snow fall we have gotten. I don't even know how many cars are flipped along the side of the highway.
Oh and then about 3:30pm, the power went out......fun.
Even more fun is that it did not come back on for us until around 2:00am....yeah, jealous?
So, I had candles going, both Missy and Buddha Man had layers on(complete with Elmo slippers), and Citizendad bought pizza home for dinner. Fun. Fun. Fun.
Sooo, I have been thinking about giving an award out tonight...and I didn't know if I could find and actual award to give that would be fitting to what I want to give it for....did that make sense?
Anyways, as many of you know, Citizendad and I are done having kids...two is enough for us. Today, Citizendad went in for his consultation to get the 'ol snip-a-roo....now, he knows that I was going to blog about this, I told him that the whole world was going to know that his bits 'n' pieces are getting snipped:o) And I know, you all wanted to know too, just admit it!
Soo, back to my award giving.....and this my friends is the award I'm giving out tonight:

And if you guessed it, it's going to my wonderful husband, Citizendad! For doing this so that I don't have to, for just wanting two kids like me, and for finally setting an appointment to get it done. Let's all give him a round of applause:o) because I love this man. And think of him on Thursday, at 3:00pm....snip-snip!
Ciao.

My body hurts:o(
Can I while a little? Please?
I started doing yoga, again....
I forgot that it uses muscles that normally I don't use.
And I hurt. Well, not hurt, more like just sore.
And I really notice that I'm sore when I have to chase Missy through the mall. I really with those play areas would have some sort of gate so that the toddlers cannot escape. Sure she thought it was fun, but mommy, not thinking about it, wore her boots tonight.....not a really easy thing to run in.
I'm sure I'll be really sore when we go running in the morning, but I'll make Citizendad push the double jogging stroller.....muahaha, I know, I'm evil.
Also, three things...
1.) I will be putting up my blog roll, soooo be on the look out for that.
2.) I've been painting! But I have yet to take pictures of them to post them in my art blog. Again, be on the look out:o) and tell me what you think of them!
3.) I know I said I would do my meme that I got tagged for today, but sadly, I didn't get around to it, but I will.
Ciao. I'm tired.

Picking my brain....
There are times that I sit, and think "ok, blog already"....but nothing comes to mind. And really, that's sad. I have alot going on, just not sure how to put it all down.
Like....Missy starting to talk more. Her first sentence( and I kid you not)"you suck".....yeah, she got that from me. I say suck alot. When I drive, I tell all the other drivers how much they suck, when I'm in the passenger seat I tell the other drives how much they suck...nice huh?:o)
I could also write about how Missy is not liking bath time as much anymore, or the part I have to wash her hair I should say. As soon as she sees me reaching for that shampoo, oh goodness help me, the neighbors probably think I'm beating her or something......geez.
And then there is Buddha Man, my velcro baby, won't let me out of his sight. And man can he crawl. Fast. Super fast. You open the fridge, and he's there in a split second reminding you that you need to clean that thing out. You open the door to that bathroom, and BAM! He's there too! And guess what? He's finally saying "mama"..makes me sooo happy. But he only says it when he's upset, crying and crawling towards me. It get's loud when I'm not on his mama radar.
And I could go on how I've been browsing the net looking for various suppliers for things that I need for my cupcakery....and tell you how I found hot pink, yes I said HOT PINK cupcake boxes! You know how excited I am about that?! And they come at a very good price, IMHO:o)
And I could tell you how much I do not like blogger right now, because I have wrote this post like three times now and it won't save and keeps on signing me out......
But as you see, I have a hard time putting this all down.......hummm;o)
Ciao.

Well, she's still alive after all....
I have been kinda deciding whether or not I wanted to post. But it has been forever since my last one. It's just I have alot going on, and well, I really don't like to post really personal stuff. I was just afraid I might slip up or something......
Missy and Buddha Man are doing great. They are growing, learning new things everyday and just all around fun. Though, they are still kind of wacky on their sleep schedule.
But can you believe it? Buddha Man is 9months old.....that means in 3months, my baby, my last baby I will ever be having, will be 1. Yes, I said 1. And the little guy, well he's just got to let go and he'll be walking. But he's become a Velcro baby, sometimes I like it, other times, I just want to go to the bathroom without someone crying and banging on the door.
Missy, boy is she fun. Learning new words everyday. Her favorite is "no".
Me: Missy, do you want a new diaper?
Missy: NO.
Me: Are you sure?
Missy: NO
Me: So are you just going to walk around with a wet diaper all day?
Missy: NO
Me: Hummm, I have no idea of what to do for you, do you?
Missy: NO
Me: ok, well I guess that's it then.
Missy: Ok, bye.....
But then as soon as I get out a diaper for Buddha Man, she runs to me, lays down and waits for hers to be changed. Yeah, we are sooo ready to start potty training.
Our Couch to 5k is going fine. I say fine because I am sooo out of shape, and my legs are sooo sore. Citizendad (like that?) and I are planning on running in the Portland Marathon. That is alot of work, but we are running every other day, and hopefully we are able to do that. We are thinking even if we come in way behind, at least we tried it, right? But it's a good goal to work towards.
So, I guess that's about it. Oh, our very good friends just found out that they are expecting their second baby! We are super excited for them! So congrats J&J! And G, you'll be a great big sister!
Ciao.
